  1. Good job pastor, Enjoyed communion service appreciate you and your family One in CHRIST, R and M

  2. Good message, Pastor Ken. I have recently started reading a book I read years ago, Hinds’ Feet on High Places. An allegory most of us are probably familiar with about the journey of Much Afraid from the Valley of Humiliation to the High Places with The Shepherd. She constantly has to lay down and surrender her will along the way. Much of our life is surrendering to God our desires, our plans, our will, and ultimately our very life, and accepting His will. In considering joy, which was discussed, I don’t think it is something we can manufacture in our lives. I can’t make myself joyful; however, I can create an atmosphere where joy (and other fruit) can grow by choosing to surrender, choosing to be grateful, choosing to forgive, and basically choosing what would make Jesus pleased. Just some ponderings. Blessings to you all, Elyse

  3. From our 11:45am discussion today:

    Earth’s crammed with heaven
    And every common bush afire with God;
    But only he who sees takes off his shoes,
    The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries
